Not the most thorough consultation. Only checked heart… didn’t really check paws or eyes etc. Also the vet had a school work experience girl in and she didn’t get her to do anything or help or practically teach her. She was just stood in the corner left to watch which seemed unhelpful and inconsiderate - poor girl. It felt like quick money for them.

The receptionist was lovely, really caring and showing my dog a fuss very informative and welcoming. The vet however was rude and very obnoxious. Did not explain things well and made it out like my dogs situation was my fault. I went in for a health check of my new puppy to make sure he was healthy and to make sure I did not need to do anything. I was first told have you weighed him and I had to do it myself having never used the scales before then the vet walked off and did not ask me to come in or follow. I just did. I was then told the my puppy only had one testicle and that it should have been there by now and then did not explain what that ment and how we dealt with that until I ask the question. I was quite concerned as I was totally unaware of this and what it meant but the vet made no attempt to alleviated my concerns by telling me the next steps or that it's not a problem we just need to do this. Instead the vet told me if you don't do something about it, it could turn into cancer. As it turns out he just needs to be castrated, which we plan to do anyway, and he should be fine. I then had to ask when this would have to take place rather than telling me that this will not need to happen for a year. I came out very shaken and shocked. Finding out my puppy is a ticking time bomb was quite a shock and the vet did nothing to help.
