10th September 2026 - yet again Skellingthorpe Vets excels itself, with "team Nina" looking after my 10 X 3 week old puppies as if they were their own. Vet Nina is particularly good with their mum Sasha as she is a scared dog, Nina puts her right at ease. Thank you all once again I have been with The Veterinary Hospital for a few years now and was so glad to find their Skellingthorpe hospital. It's further away for me but has such a personal feel to it, Sophie the vet, and Natalie R today looked after Bruno, who is a worrier, and our new dog Sasha with so much care, that in bigger surgeries is often missing. Do give it a try if you, or your pet might prefer calm and friendly. Plenty of parking, nice dog walks nearby if you want to stretch your legs, and then you could go to doddington hall after for a coffee. Almost a day out!!! Thank you to the whole team for being fab. A 5 star practice! Twice now have needed a same day appointment and staff have managed, with neither appointment being rushed. From the Vets to the lovely staff on the customer service desk its always been friendly and welcoming. The animal (dog for me) is their priority. Thank you

I had a fantastic experience at Skellingthorpe Veterinary Hospital. Veterinary nurse Nina was absolutely amazing with my anxious cat. she was so calm, gentle, and patient, which made a huge difference and really put us both at ease. Highly recommend Nina and the entire team for their compassionate and professional care! 🥰

Since moving my dog to the VH earlier in the summer we've made 3 or 4 visits. I'm always impressed by the kindness of the vets towards my dog and towards me. I feel heard and I feel that everyone has an abundance of time. Our appointments are never rushed and I feel that the primary goal is to make my boy well rather than trying to squeeze the most amount of money out of my pocket.
